     Here at Prairieland Taxidermy we create custom wildlife artwork that look like live animals. Striking anatomically correct  posing and expression hold the key to a lifelike mount. We have the knowledge and capability to take each piece individually and mount it in a position to best enhance its features and create unique habitat scenes typical of the area from which the animal is from.

    The mounting process begins with the finest custom factory tanned skins as well as the best materials and the most up to date techniques. Design and presentation is paramount. Every mount is an original custom design and usually requires substantial form alterations. We do not use the closest commercial mannequin and just simply slide your skin over it. We measure every skin and custom shape the form to give you the most accurate representation of your trophy possible.
 
     When your trophy is completed it will not merely be a representation of the species. You will have an originally designed piece of wildlife art that you will be proud to display and enjoy for a lifetime.
